Our trip to Skomer Island, Wales, was to start with a visit to Gigrin Farm feeding station. Several hundred birds visit the feeding station at 2pm in the Winter, 3PM in the summer. It is diffiicult to believe that back in the 1970s there were only twenty pairs in the UK. the number now exceeds 2000 pairs.  For more photos see Skomer Island and Wales
